Easy fabric flowers!

Today I'm going to show you how to make an easy little hair flower, but you could just skip the last steps and put the flower on anything you want to.

To start out you will need: sizzors, about six inches of fabric (the wider your fabric the bigger the flower) a needle and thread, hot glue gun, and a bobby pin.
Now thread your needle and stick it in and out of your thread; in other words just stich up the middle as the picture shows.
Do this untill you reach the end and pull the fabric up the string to bunch it up.
Make sure to pull tight as you knot the end, if you don't you will have a loose flower.
Knot the end by starting a stich and pulling it only part way through, then stick your needle through the loop and pull tight. Do this at least twice.
Your flower should look like this.
Now if you are attaching this to a bobby pin like me, just sew in around a few times then use the hot glue gun to make sure it's not going anywhere.
Like so!

And your done!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Are you living like the savior that you clam to love?

Are you a christan?
Well, I hope that this post will reveal to you if you are a christan or not. In the book of 1John it has a list of tests to reveal if you are a christian.  But, I have some questions to ask the professing christians.
Are you living like Christ?
Do you strive to be like him?
Would you be willing to give up everything for Him, like becoming missionary to Africa?
OR are you willing to give away your favorite jeans because you were convicted by scripture that they weren't modest?
Are you looking to Jesus for your forgiveness and as the model of your life?
Do you tell someone to not do something that you yourself do?
Do you gossip behind other peoples backs?
Are you a LUKEWARM christian?
I know that no one can be like him perfectly. I know that these questions were challenging for me. They showed me that I'm not even close to being like Jesus. Christ's death gave us forgiveness for all of our sins, but he didn't just die, because if he did, we would be worshiping a dead Savior; He rose from the dead to give us assurance of our salvation and forgiveness. If this has shown you that you still have a long way to becoming like our king, then that's a good sign that Christ has a plan and a future for you.

With love through the King of grace

Lace hair bow.

Today we are going to be making a lace ribbon hair bow.

The supplies you will need are...
Hot glue gun, hair clip of your choice, sizers, and lace ribbon.
Cut two pieces of ribbon roughly the same size.
My ribbon has a border on it to ruffle it but I don't want it ruffled so I am just going to cut the border off.
Like so! Continue to the end and repeat on the other piece of ribbon.
Now lay the two pieces of ribbon on top of each other so the pretty edges are sticking out on both sides.
Put glue along the edges and stick together and trim the ribbon down so that the pieces are the same size.

I forgot to take pictures of this step but all  you do is fold both sides in to the middle to create the length you want for your bow.
Fold the ribbon back and forth and make sure to have all the stuff that you won't  want to see when you look at it on the back.
Take a scrap piece of your ribbon and fold it to create a little strip that will hold your bow together.
Wrap the strip around the middle and glue the end to the back so you can't see it.
Put glue along the clip.
Stick the clip onto the back and wala your done!

Purple nail art design

This post is going to be my first nail art tutortial.

This nail art is quick, easy, and cute.

These are the colors I used.
This is Sally Hansen's "No Hard Feeling"

This is Sinful Color's "Dream On"

This is a Miginailart white.

First, paint your nail with the Sally Hansen's "No Hard Feelings"

Next, paint a diagonal strip across your nail with Sinful Color's "Dream On"

Now, take the white Miginailart pen {if you don't have one you can use a tooth pick or a detailed brush} and draw random lines down the sides of the diagonal strip.

That all! Like I said, quick, easy, and cute.

Who is he, this King of glory?

 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty –
he is the King of glory.
Selah

This passage of scripture is taken from Psalms 24:7-10.

Who is he, this King of glory? Well this king of glory is the King of Kings and Lord of Lord he strong and mighty. He stands against evil, he is righteous, just and holy. He is ancient of days, he is savior of the world! This is talking about the person who died to save you from the wrath of the Father against your sins so you can go to heaven. This is Jesus son of God and light of the world!
Yes,  the "good teacher" the " son of Mary" " the one who died" but he is also the one who made the lame walk, the deaf hear and the blind see.
The perfect one who kept the law completely, the one who the angels sing about, the one who rose from the dead, the one who lives to this day, seated on the throne in heaven and is willing to forgive you for all of your sins if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe with your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.

Have a blessed Father's Day!

Heatless overnight cirls

Hello,

This post is going to be overnight heatless curls. I love heatless curls for many reasons.  Heatless curls aren't damaging to your hair, they are quick and easy, and you wake up with lovely hair.

So, this heatless curl is just simply a french braid.

Spritz your hair with water.  But, be careful to not get it too wet otherwise, it will not dry and your hair will be wet when you take it out... resulting in less waves or no waves.

First, split your hair from your top of your ears to the crown of your head. {half pony tail}

Next, split that section of hair into three equal parts.
Cross the left most strands OVER the middle strand.
Now cross the right most strand over the new middle strand.

Pick up a piece of hair on the left side of your head.

Now add it to your left most strand.
Cross your left most strand over the middle strand.
Take a piece of hair from the right side of your head and add it to the right most strand.
Now cross the right most strand over the middle strand.

Continue to repeat this step untill you have no more hair to add. Keep doing a regular braid untill you reach the end of your hair. Tie off with an elastic.
Don't be discouraged if your braid doesn't turn out the first time you try it. It takes practice; it might be easier to try this on a sister or a friend first... just to get the hang of it.

...

Good morning!
So, this is the finished look.  The outcome will be different on everyone's hair. On my hair it turned out like beach waves.
If you would like tighter curls just do two french braids. Three braids provides me with a beautiful kinky curl.
I hope you have enjoyed this post!
