Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
the Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty –
he is the King of glory.
Selah
This passage of scripture is taken from Psalms 24:7-10.
Who is he, this King of glory? Well this king of glory is the King of Kings and Lord of Lord he strong and mighty. He stands against evil, he is righteous, just and holy. He is ancient of days, he is savior of the world! This is talking about the person who died to save you from the wrath of the Father against your sins so you can go to heaven. This is Jesus son of God and light of the world!
Yes, the "good teacher" the " son of Mary" " the one who died" but he is also the one who made the lame walk, the deaf hear and the blind see.
The perfect one who kept the law completely, the one who the angels sing about, the one who rose from the dead, the one who lives to this day, seated on the throne in heaven and is willing to forgive you for all of your sins if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe with your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.
Have a blessed Father's Day!
