DIY earrings and fixing rusty earrings

Hi!
Today's post is going to be how to make earrings but since that was so easy I thought that I would show you how to fix old ones too;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To start with you will need: some pliers (at least two, to open up the jump rings), beads or old necklaces, some nail looking thing, jump rings, and earring hooks (you can find these really cheap at Walmart).
You will not need all of these things but this is the over all list for my ideas.
For my first pair of earring I just detached a bead from a necklace, leaving the jump ring on.
Open up the jump ring and slide the earring hook on, close it again, and your done with the first one.
Ok... Now you need the nail thing... If you can see in the picture it has a flat end like a nail.
Chose your beads. Sometimes the beads that you choose will have too big of a hole and will slide off, in that case, just put a matching smaller bead on the end.
Bend the wire to one side at a horizontal angle then grab it with your needle nose pliers.
Wrap the wire around the pliers to make a loop.
Cut off the extra wire and open the earring hook up and BOOM! Done with the second pair.
Has your mom ever told you "Don't wear rusty earrings!! It will kill you!!" And you know that means that you have to get rid of another pair of your favorite earrings.
Now you don't! If you got the pack of earring hooks you will have plenty left over to change out the old hooks! The earring on the left are new and the other ones are still rusty.
Look at all the earring I get to wear again:):):)
That's it!! Easy easy easy!
Have fun making and fixing all kinds of earrings!
